 ( James Dent)

“In summer, the song sings itself”.

(William Carlos Williams)

“Deep summer is when laziness finds respectability” .
(Sam Keen)

“Summer is the time when one sheds one's tensions with one's clothes, and the right kind of day is jeweled balm for the battered spirit. A few of those days and you can become drunk with the belief that all's right with the world”.
(Ada Louise Huxtable)

“In the depths of winter I finally learned there was in me an invincible summer”.
(Albert Camus)

“Summer afternoon, summer afternoon; to me those have always been the two most beautiful words in the English language”.

Good night, good night.”

  3. Que selección más buena de pinturas del verano, tienen un color y una luz excelentes, por algo eran maestros sus creadores.
Me encanta que visites mi web y que hayas disfrutado de mi trabajo. Un saludo

  4. Summer is one of the best seasons of the year, also give the awaited holiday after a hard year´s work. It is also a very romantic season to fall in love and to do a cruise on some parts of the world. Even it has inspired to great painters to paint pretty pictures of lovely summer landscapes.

  7. Dear Nieves, I invited some friends to visit Blogzoom and see my story that I appreciated their presence (you also) in my life. So in Facebook is like a living room, cos friend are talking about, add more content, saying nice things and I'm smiling ... happy!

About this AMAZING post: Fortunately the weather is improving here. Spring is coming. The days are sunny but cool. This week the winds are very strong, yesterday slammed my door and the glass broke.

These watercolors are wonderful. I'd rather look at a painting I understand what I'm seeing, than to wonder what happened to the head of whom he painted.

    Kisses!!!!!!!!!!

  8. Hi Sissy, you are lucky spring is coming where you live, just on the contrary that it happens here, though really all the seasons are attractive and I am starting to appreciate even autumn, that has never been my most cherised one.

Related to the paintings, I agree about that you don't have to be an expert in art to love paintings, I think it is just something to do with emotions more than with the head.

About Blogzoom and Facebook, unfortunately I really don't have much time to give to those social networking(my daily work and to keep updated my three blogs take me the most of my spare time, apart from family and friends), so please, excuse me if I don't reply to you through them as much as I would like.

Lots of hugs and kisses for you, my dear friend!
